With great pleasure, I’m announcing two additions to our funconf lineup.

Tom Preston-Werner is one of the founders of Github. The Github story is one of the most inspiring successes of recent times. Tom’s post, “How I Turned Down $300,000 from Microsoft to go Full-Time on GitHub” is essential reading for anyone bootstrapping their own web startup. Tom walks the walk, talks the talk, tells a good tale and knows how to party. We’re excited to have him on board.

Amy Hoy is one of the most passionate web developers out there. Her blog, Slash7 is a fantastic mix of tech, writing and story telling. She’s the driving force behind the time tracker Freckle and the Twitter mashup Twistori. Amy’s writing style is fun and engaging and we’re sure she’ll have some fun stories to tell.

We have a few more announcements to come, but it’s great to add such wonderful people to our story-telling lineup.
